Dopo esserci goduti per un po la versione stabile, ecco che esce la 1.7.

Per la versione stabile: prova ad installare manualmente le dipendenze (tramite synaptic o dal terminale).
Per la unstable: wesnoth-data non potrai installarla siccome ti servirà wesnoth-unstable-data ( e così via per i vari pacchetti).
Se non lo conosci vorrei consigliarti il forum italiano di wesnoth, dove non sarai l’unico linuxiano
