Yes, it is a while I thought I split the debian version from the one for ubuntu, but the initial idea was to create a repository more complex existing in space, but then I realized that if I used launchpad hadst been more ease in identifying the problems (and ask for help to solve them).
For now it is only in trial, but when it hits version 1.9 will be considered initiated in all respects.
The new PPA is available for: jaunty, karmic and lucid
Will be published versions only devel, so to get the latest stable version also will have to use another repository.
And by the repository on TuxFamily …. know that will change with the advent of the new stable version (ie 1.8) then open your eyes every other day will change the addresses.

Ciao valdan e complimenti per il lavoro che fai, è molto utile per chi vuole provare la versione di sviluppo di wesnoth ma non sa o non ha tempo per compilare tutto.
Stavo proprio cercando su launchpad l’ultima versione instabile di wesnoth è sono arrivato al tuo ppa ma mi sono accorto che non è possibile segnalare nessun bug, potreste abilitare la funzione in modo da avere la possibilità, come hai scritto, di avere “maggior facilità nell’identificare i problemi (e nel chiedere aiuto per risolverli).” ?
Già che ci sono volevo chiederti quando pensi di compilare l’ultima versione di sviluppo: Wesnoth 1.7.9 aka 1.8-beta2 ?
Per la 1.7.9 mi son messo al lavoro appena ho letto la tua richiesta (adesso è in download) e salvo inconvenienti entro questa sera sarà disponibile.
Per quanto riguarda la segnalazione dei bug su launchpad pensavo si attivassero in automatico, vorrà dire che durante la compilazione cercherò dove farlo XD
